Two Southern University Students Dead in Louisiana Shooting

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (AP) — Police in Louisiana say two university students were shot to death in Baton Rouge early Sunday.

Baton Rouge Police say one of the Southern University students was pronounced dead at the scene. The other died shortly after. Both were 19 years old.

A third person, a 24-year-old man who suffered gunshot injuries, is expected to recover.

The names of the victims were not released.

Police said in an emailed statement that there are “no known suspects or motives at this time.”
