On arrival in London, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo was asked by a reporter about presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.
“Trump is stupid. He’s very stupid,” Hidalgo said.
She continued, “I think the example are all the people — Muslim, Catholic…and we are in the life. We are in our mission and Mr. Trump is so stupid, my God. My God.”
Trump has been critical of Paris’ gun laws after the Islamic extremist terrorism massacre last year. He’s also been critical of Europe’s immigration policy, opening its borders to migrants and Syrian refugees.
