Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump criticized New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez during his campaign rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Tuesday night at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

“The number of unemployed people in Albuquerque has nearly doubled,” since 2000, Trump said. “It’s your government’s fault.”

“Since 2000, the number of people on food stamps in New Mexico has tripled,” Trump added, placing the blame on Martinez. “She’s got to do a better job.”

“She’s not doing the job,” he added. “Hey, maybe I’ll run for Governor of New Mexico.”

Trump’s jab comes after Martinez said she was too busy to attend Trump’s campaign rally.

Martinez, who has been critical of some of Trump’s policy proposals, told reporters:

I’m the governor of New Mexico and I’m really focused on what’s going on here in New Mexico — just like the announcement we just did with 100 new high-tech and research jobs, improving the education for our kids, another job announcement tomorrow. Those are the things that I’m concentrating on and I’m going to keep concentrating on.

Trump spoke to a packed crowd but was interrupted several times by protesters.

Trump said New Mexico tends to vote Democrat, but “not with me.”

“Hillary is having a hard time,” he commented about the likely Democrat nominee. “They [the Democrat party] are in a mess.”

“I don’t know about them, but a lot of the Bernie Sanders people have said they’re voting for Trump,” he said, referencing the protesters who continuously interrupted him during the first half hour of the rally. “They’re troublemakers.”

“I don’t know for a fact that Hillary is going to be able to run,” Trump added. “I sort of hope she is.”

“We’re suffering at the hands of stupidity and incompetence,” he told the crowd. “We want to take care of everyone. We want to take care of those protesters.”

“We want to take care of everybody. We want to be inclusive. We want to include everybody,” the billionaire said. “We’re a group that’s very well unified.”
