Watch: Hillary Clinton Supports Abortion Extremism

Hillary Clinton on Abortion

A new video by American Values Action (AVA) demonstrates the extreme views on abortion held by Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

The video emphasizes four areas. First, Clinton has indicated that, if elected, she will work to expand taxpayer funding for abortion by repealing the longstanding Hyde Amendment. Clinton has said that low-income women, primarily blacks and Latinos, often cannot pay for their own abortions. She intends to ensure that taxpayer-funded Medicaid can be used to pay for those abortions.

Second, the video highlights Clinton’s alarming statement last April that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs have to be changed” in order to make abortion more favorable and acceptable.

A third area is Clinton’s assertion that unborn babies have no constitutional rights whatsoever. In April, Clinton responded to The View co-host Paula Faris when asked about her comments that an unborn child has no constitutional rights:

Under our law that is the case, Paula. I support Roe versus Wade because I think it is an important — an important statement about the importance of a woman making this most difficult decision with consultation by whom she chooses: her doctor, her faith, her family. And under the law and under certainly that decision, that is the way we structure it.

Finally, the AVA video emphasizes Clinton’s commitment to appoint only judges who share her extreme views on abortion.

“The reality is that Hillary Clinton supports abortion through all nine months of pregnancy up to the moments before birth,” says AVA senior fellow Dr. Charmaine Yoest. “While the media is busy taking a joke Donald Trump made at a rally over a crying baby into national news, they are avoiding any reporting on Hillary Clinton’s abortion extremism.”

“Hillary Clinton’s stance in favor of abortion rights is well known, but less well-known is just how extreme and unlimited her advocacy of abortion is,” she added.

Yoest emphasizes that Clinton’s statement that she will focus on filling the Supreme Court with pro-abortion justices is pivotal.

“This will be a mobilizing issue as more religious voters are educated about her record of abortion extremism,” she says.
