A Rasmussen Reports survey published on Thursday shows the race tightening after the Republican and Democratic conventions.

Rasmussen’s White House Watch poll shows Clinton leading Trump by two points, within the poll’s three point margin of error, 41 percent to 39 percent.

Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate, receives nine percent as Green Party candidate Jill Stein ranks in last with three percent in the survey.

According to the results, Clinton holds more support within her party than Trump has, but the New Yorker is leading the former secretary of state with voters who aren’t affiliated with either party, 38 percent to 29 percent.

The poll surveyed 1,000 “likely voters” from Aug. 15 to Aug. 16. It has a margin of error of plus or minus three points.
