Claim: George H.W. Bush Voting for Hillary Clinton

Former President George H.W. Bush plans to vote for Hillary Clinton, according to a claim made by Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, a daughter of Robert Kennedy.

Townsend said that she met with Bush in Maine, where to hold her that he would be voting for a Democrat in the upcoming election.

“That’s what he said,” Kennedy told Politico after posting the news on Facebook.

Members of the Bush family are not fans of Republican party nominee presidential nominee Donald Trump, particularly after he easily defeated Jeb Bush in the presidential primary.

A spokesperson for the elder Bush didn’t deny the report, but insisted that the former president would keep his preference for president private.
