President-elect Donald Trump is expected to deliver a Thanksgiving message on Wednesday.

Trump is spending Thanksgiving Day and the weekend at Mar-a-Lago, while Vice President-elect Mike Pence is spending Thanksgiving in Mississippi, where his son is stationed as a Marine.

According to the Trump transition team, Trump and Pence have held more than 60 meetings as they assemble the incoming administration.

“We may have additional cabinet level announcements coming later today,” Trump’s spokesman Jason Miller told reporters on Wednesday morning.

Trump announced early Wednesday morning that he plans to nominate South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley as the United States ambassador to the United Nations. It has also been reported that Trump is seriously considering Dr. Ben Carson for the head of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
