Ricky Williams is undeniably one of the more troubled yet intriguing athletes of our time, leaving many wondering what the former Heisman Trophy winner’s career would have looked like without the influence of marijuana.

Despite his very public drug problem, Williams has managed to land a job coaching at the University of the Incarnate Word coaching running backs.

UIW is in San Antonio. The Cardinals finished 2-9 last season but are will play in the Southland Conference this year after previously being members of the Lone Star Conference.

The former Texas Longhorn broke the NCAA rushing record in 1998, which was broken a year later by Ron Dayne of Wisconsin. Williams went on to had a successful NFL career with the Saints, Dolphins, and one final season with the Ravens, however, drug usage and bizarre behavior marred the possibilities his talent would have enabled.
