Nabbed: Stiviano Attacker Charged

New York City police have charged a Long Island man in an attack on V. Stiviano that left Donald Sterling’s former mistress bruised.

Stiviano reportedly picked Dominick Dorio out of a police lineup. On Tuesday, Cops charged the forty-year-old Old Bethpage man with assault, harassment, and a hate crime in connection with the Sunday night attack. Dorio and another man allegedly employed racial language while punching Stiviano. Police remain on the lookout for the second assailant

“On behalf of Ms. Stiviano, we would like to express our gratitude to the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force for acting with utmost courtesy, professionalism and swiftness,” read a prepared statement by Stiviano’s lawyers. “We know that many in the news media have access to and have been able to communicate directly with Ms. Stiviano. We now request that in light of the pending criminal matter and in an effort to not taint the proceedings, that Ms. Stiviano not be contacted directly and that all media requests be forwarded to her attorneys Mr. Mac Nehoray and/or Ms. Alaleh Kamran.”

Stiviano traveled to New York for an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper.
