Wake Forest Creates ‘Beyond Whiteness’ Program in Classics Department

Wake Forest University recently launched a program called “Beyond Whiteness” that was designed to introduce students to “diverse” perspectives during their study of the Classical languages. The university calls the tendency to focus on white authors, artists, and scholars in the study of the classics as “misleading and damaging.”

Vassar College Workshop: ‘All White People Are Racist’

Students that attended a recent workshop at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, were reportedly told that “all white people are racist.” The popular “Undoing Racism” workshop has been offered at dozens of universities around the country since its introduction in 2010.

University of Georgia: TA Who Said ‘White People Might Have to Die’ Did Not Violate Code of Conduct

A judiciary panel at the University of Georgia has concluded that a teaching assistant and graduate student who came under scrutiny last January for making racially charged statements did not violate the student code of conduct. The graduate student had been accused of purposefully omitting a trespassing arrest from his UGA admissions application, among other allegations.
