WATCH: Bangladeshi Alleged Human Trafficker Captured in Mexican Border State

Mexican and U.S. authorities arrested a human trafficker from Bangladesh who allegedly operated a smuggling network out of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The Bangladeshi national is suspected of orchestrating the smuggling of more than 700 women from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East into Texas.

120 Bangladeshi Migrants Apprehended at Texas Border Since Oct 1

Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo Sector captured eight additional Bangladeshi nationals who illegally crossed the border from Mexico over the Thanksgiving weekend. The arrests bring the total for the new fiscal year, which began October 1, to more than 120.

Six Bangladeshis Apprehended in 12 Hours at Texas Border

Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents continue to find illegal immigrants from Bangladesh who cross the border from Mexico. During a 12-hour period beginning on Saturday evening, six Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended in two separate incidents.

Bangladeshi Migrants Rescued from Drowning on Texas Border

Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo Sector rescued a group of Bangladeshi nationals after they nearly drowned in the Rio Grande. The sector led the nation in Fiscal Year 2018 for the apprehension of Bangladeshi migrants.

100 Bangladeshi Nationals Apprehended near Texas Border in 3 Weeks

Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents continue to lead the nation in the apprehension of Bangladeshi nationals who illegally cross the border from Mexico into Texas. More than 100 were arrested in the past three weeks — totaling 622 this fiscal year.

400 Bangladeshi Migrants Apprehended This Year in Single Texas County

Border Patrol agents in the Laredo Sector have apprehended just under 400 Bangladeshi nationals during this fiscal year. The Bangladeshi migrants, mostly male between the ages of 18 and 35, pay cartel-connected human smugglers up to $27,000 to make their journey to America.
