Several months into the Trump administration, I started running a daily “Border Wall Construction Update” on Twitter, announcing how many miles of the wall had been completed that day and how many miles since the inauguration. It was always the same numbers: 0 and 0, respectively.

Unaccompanied Minors Housed by Feds Up 450 Percent After DACA

The number of unaccompanied migrant children housed by the federal government jumped by more than 450 percent following President Barack Obama’s implementation of the DACA program in 2012. Government programs provided shelter to about 8,000 per year prior to implementation. After, the numbers jumped exponentially to an average of more than 44,000 annually.

Federal Appeals Court Reinstates Longstanding Policy on Transgender Troops

Federal appellate judges in D.C. dissolved a trial court injunction on Friday that had been blocking President Donald Trump’s decision to continue the decades-long policy banning transgender individuals from military service, but the policy continues to be blocked by other courts as the Supreme Court prepares to vote on reviewing the matter.
