Claim: Trump ‘Threatens Mental Health of Young Californians’

President-elect Donald Trump is causing mental health problems for young people in California. That’s according to claims by “advocates, educators and mental health providers” who say Californian youth are troubled by Trump’s policies towards illegal immigration, and that they feel targeted by “hate crimes” attributed — rightly or wrongly — to Trump’s supporters.

Deadly Tree Crash on Wedding Party in Whittier

At least one person has died and five others have been inured — including a 4-year-old little girl — after a eucalyptus tree came crashing down onto a wedding party in Whittier’s Penn Park around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

#BlackLivesMatter Graffiti Hits University of Texas

Five different areas on the University of Texas at Austin (UT) campus were hit with graffiti bearing Blacks Lives Matter markings. The graffiti appeared after a Black Lives Matter activist shot himself on the steps of the Ohio statehouse, and after a 17-year-old black man was shot and killed during a confrontation with Austin Police officers on Monday.
