Trump Praises NASCAR for Standing for the National Anthem

Monday while honoring 2017 NASCAR Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. and his Furniture Row Racing team at the White House, President Donald Trump took another shot at the NFL and recognized NASCAR for always standing for the National Anthem.

Warriors Guard Steph Curry Won’t Go to White House if Invited

On Wednesday, star guard Steph Curry said, “Somebody asked me about it a couple months ago, a hypothetical, if a championship were to happen: ‘What would I do?’” I think I answered that I wouldn’t go. I still feel like that today.”

Pittsburgh Penguins Will Visit White House, if Invited

Following their championship win, the Golden State Warriors did not immediately announce whether they would accept a White House invite to celebrate their title. However, the other team to win a major professional sports championship in the last few days wasted no time saying they would make the trip.
