CNN commentator Symone Sanders attacked President Donald Trump on air Monday, accusing him of giving the military the “proverbial middle finger.”
“I would just like to remind folks that in the months leading up to Osama bin Laden being killed, President Trump, then citizen Trump, was trafficking in a racist birther conspiracy, that resulted in former President Obama releasing his birth certificate in April of that same year, before bin Laden was killed in that May,” Sanders said.
“So, look, Donald Trump, he says he cares so much about the veterans. He says he cares so much about our military. But at every single turn, he has given them a proverbial middle finger, and I just don’t know how much longer he’s going to get away with it,” she continued.
These comment came after Trump said Monday that America “should have captured Osama Bin Laden long before we did.”
“Of course we should have captured Osama Bin Laden long before we did. I pointed him out in my book just BEFORE the attack on the World Trade Center. President Clinton famously missed his shot. We paid Pakistan Billions of Dollars & they never told us he was living there. Fools!” Trump tweeted.

….We no longer pay Pakistan the $Billions because they would take our money and do nothing for us, Bin Laden being a prime example, Afghanistan being another. They were just one of many countries that take from the United States without giving anything in return. That’s ENDING!

Sanders has repeatedly used her platform on CNN to attack the president. Earlier this month, she claimed that Trump’s speech about the caravan of migrants coming to America was a “defense of white supremacy.”
