AG Nominee Refuses To Say If Drones Against Americans Illegal

Wednesday during her confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, President Barack Obama’s nominee for attorney general, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York Loretta Lynch, repeatedly refused to answer Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) In your legal judgment, is it constitutional for the federal government to utilize a drone strike against an American  citizen on U.S. soil if that individual does not pose an imminent threat?”

Lynch stonewalled by saying she couldn’t see a reason for that situation to happen, to the Texas senator’s disappointment.
