Sen Graham on Government Shutdown Over DACA: ‘Anything Is Possible’

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” when asked if there could be a government shutdown over a deal for the DREAMERs who were previously protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said that “in Congress, anything is possible.”

Graham said, “In Congress, anything is possible. I think it would be sad to miss this opportunity. The president has talked very warmly about the DREAM Act kids.”

He added, “I think most Americans want to get these DREAM Act kids a more certain life. So let’s do it in December, let’s do it for the good of the country, let’s take care of a lot of problems at one time to show the country we actually can function.”
