Trump: Hillary Can’t Say She Cares About Women While Importing Radical Refugees to America

Donald Trump blasted Hillary Clinton’s “radical” immigration position on Sunday. Rasmussen polling shows that only 4% of American women support Clinton’s Middle East migration proposal.

Trump tweeted:

Indeed, last year, President Obama directed his administration to accept at least 10,000 Syrian refugees over the course of this fiscal year. However, Clinton said that Obama’s plan did not go nearly far enough— Clinton called for a 500% increase to Obama’s refugee resettlement operation.

“I think the United States has to do more,” Clinton told CBS last September. “I would like to see us move from what is a good start with 10,000 to 65,000.”

Clinton’s call for admitting 65,000 Syrian refugees is on top of the roughly 30,000 refugees and asylees the U.S. already admits from the Middle East each year. Adding in refugees from across the Muslim world, this means that under Clinton’s plan, the U.S. would admit at least 105,000 thousand refugees from the Muslim world annually, based on data from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

This does not even include the larger permanent resettlement program that occurs through green cards, bringing total annual migration from the Muslim world to 182,000 a year under Clinton’s proposal— of which roughly 140,000 would be from the Middle East specifically, according to DHS data.

Polling data shows that Americans oppose Clinton’s refugee resettlement plan by a margin so striking that it would seem to confirm an earlier declaration from Immigration Subcommittee Chairman Sen. Jeff Sessions that “Hillary Clinton has embraced a radical and extreme open borders agenda that, properly exposed, will make her un-electable.”

To provide a more detailed breakdown of the numbers involved in Clinton’s proposal, here is approximately the Islamic migration that would occur in her first term under the minimum numbers she has put forward thus far:

– 374,000 refugees/asylees from the Middle East during her first term, based on DHS data.

– 420,000 refugees/asylees from the Muslim world during her first term.

– 560,000 permanent migrants from the Middle East during her first term.

– 730,000 permanent migrants from the Muslim world during her first term.

These figures do not include the total number of temporary migrants such as foreign workers and foreign students. If you include temporary migrants, the total number of Muslim migrants coming across the border for one reason or another during Clinton’s first term would be somewhere closer to 1.4 million.

According to a September 2015 Rasmussen survey, only 5% of likely voters said that they wanted the U.S. to admit more than 100,000 refugees from the Middle East.

Women oppose Clinton’s plan to bring more than 100,000 refugees from the Middle East by a remarkable 21-to-1 margin, with 84 percent opposing and four percent supporting.

Democrat voters oppose Clinton’s refugee plan by a 17-to-1 margin with 87 percent opposing and five percent supporting.

Black voters oppose Clinton’s refugee agenda by a 150-to-1 margin with 85 percent opposing and only .56 percent supporting.

Trump declared that Clinton cannot position herself as a candidate who cares about women given her position on radical Islam. Trump tweeted:

Multiple reports have documented how mass Muslim migration into the United States has brought with it unique challenges to assimilation.

Muslims are the fastest growing bloc of immigrants into the United States, according to a 2015 report from the Center for Immigration Studies. U.S. Census data reveals that Arabic and Urdu – Pakistan’s national language– are the fastest-growing foreign languages spoken at home by U.S. residents. Arabic is now the most common language spoken by refugees, and 91.4 percent of recent refugees from the Middle East are on food stamps.

Last year, filmmaker Ami Horowitz interviewed Muslim residents of the Cedar Riverside section of Minneapolis, many of whom said that they would prefer to live under Sharia law. As CBS has reported, “The Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis is sometimes called ‘Little Mogadishu’” given that it is the “center of the nation’s largest concentration of Somalis.” CBS notes that the area is also “fertile ground for Islamic terrorist groups recruiting new fighters.”

Mass Muslim migration into the United States has also brought with it some troubling implications for women’s rights within the U.S.

For instance, Aayan Hirsi Ali has also observed that Islamic “honor violence” has become increasingly prevalent in the United States: “What most Americans just don’t get is that such horrors happen here in the United States of America—and not just in faraway countries like Afghanistan or Somalia.”

Hirsi Ali points to cases such as “twenty-year-old Noor al-Maleki from Phoenix, Arizona… [who] was killed when her father ran her over with his Jeep in a parking lot, crushing her body beneath its wheels. Police alleged that her father believed she had become ‘too westernized.’… [or 19-year-old] Fauzia Mohammad, who was stabbed eleven times by her brother in upstate New York because she wore ‘immodest clothing.’”

“The numbers seem very likely to rise in the years to come,” Hirsi Ali explained. “Immigration trends over the last ten years, show a significant increase in the number of people moving to the United States from countries with high-honor violence rates—notably Somalia… as well as Iraq.”

Trump also pointed out that Hillary’s “reckless and dangerous” impulses on foreign policy have contributed to the instability of the regions from where she now wants to admit the displaced migrants.

Trump writes: “Crooked Hillary Clintons foreign interventions unleashed ISIS in Syria, Iraq and Libya. She is reckless and dangerous!”
