Former President Bill Clinton will replace his wife Hillary Clinton at a previously scheduled campaign rally in Las Vegas on Wednesday, according to the campaign.

The Democratic presidential nominee collapsed after a 9/11 memorial ceremony Sunday morning, taking her off the campaign trail for an undisclosed number of days.

Clinton traveled to her home in Chappaqua, New York on Sunday where she is currently resting after her campaign claimed she was suffering from dehydration and pneumonia.

The campaign announced their decision after Clinton completed a phone interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

“I just didn’t think it was going to be that big a deal,” Clinton said, when asked why she kept her pneumonia diagnosis a secret from the public.

Bill Clinton is also expected to attend two fundraisers in California in Hillary’s place as she continues to rest.

Earlier today, Bill Clinton laughed off the notion that Hillary would be sidelined for several days as a result of the health scare in an interview with CBS anchor Charlie Rose.

“I’ll be lucky to hold her back another day,” he said.
