Romney Campaign Releases First Romney/Ryan Video

The Romney campaign–actually, the Romney/Ryan campaign, now–released its first web ad featuring new running mate Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) this morning. The ad, “America’s Comeback Team,” features audio and video from Ryan’s speech yesterday in Norfolk, VA, together with scenes of America and uplifting music.

The words are all Ryan’s–and the video builds to a crescendo–not just in volume, but also in clarity. Ryan’s voice is initially heard as if from a distance, with images of the sun setting over the Statue of Liberty, people looking for work, and homes in foreclosure. Soon the video shifts to the campaign rally on the deck of the U.S.S. Wisconsin, and Ryan himself is seen, whipping up the cheering crowd. The first, no doubt, of many.
