Chicagoland: Police Officer Allegedly Shoots Puppy

Nothing says solid police work like shooting a puppy. According to Al Phillips, who received a traffic ticket outside his home in Chicago, a neighbor notified him that a cop was writing him a ticket. He ran outside; so did his 7-month-old Bull Terrier miniature puppy. Next thing Al knew, there were two shots; the cop had shot his dog twice. “Luckily he’ll survive,” said Phillips. Phillips plans to sue the police department.

Chicago Police claim the shooting is justified, according to Phillips.
