On Thursday afternoon, former Obama National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor took to Twitter to mock American concerns about invasions of privacy due to the administration’s blanket surveillance of phone records for Americans:

This is hardly Vietor’s first go-around with making light of Obama’s critics. He characterized the hearings on the Benghazi terrorist attack of September 11, 2012 as “amateur hour.” He also compared the hearings to conspiracy theories about Area 51 and the moon landing.
