Danny Glover: Banning All Guns Prelude to End of Violence

Lethal Weapon star Danny Glover looks tough handling a gun on screen, but in real life he wishes Americans didn’t have the right to bear arms.

Glover, who recently mangled the facts behind the creation of the Second Amendment, spoke out this week in favor of preventing citizens from banning all guns.

How that would impact the criminal world, already awash with weaponry, wasn’t part of Glover’s presentation at the TransAfrica Forum in D.C. yesterday.

“There are many people in this country who do not have guns, who don’t own guns and are still under the same, are still susceptible to being burglarized or anything, but that doesn’t mean that we should willingly accept the fact that we need guns. We have to find some sort of way in which we live together, some sort of way in which we move on, for the human species to move on without guns.”
