Russell Brand on MSNBC's Mika: 'She's a Shaft-Grasper'

On Monday’s Morning Joe (MSNBC), guest Russell Brand dropped a sexual reference on co-host Mika Brzezinksi after she and panelists Katty Kay and Brian Schachtman began mocking him. After the cast members began discussing him in the third person, Brand said, “well, thanks for the casual objectification.”

He then told Brzezinksi that her hair looked like Princess Diana’s “when she was being alive, I wasn’t being offensive.” He followed that by noting that Brzezinski was nervously clutching a water bottle: “What do you think that gesture means, the way you’re touching that bottle? What does that indicate? What’s the subtext of that? You need to lose that ring, Mika, because it doesn’t mean nothing to ya. She’s grasping for that shaft. She’s a shaft-grasper.”
