Video Proof: CNN’s Attack On Ben Carson’s Biography Is Racially-Motivated

Just a little more than 24 hours ago I published this piece warning that with his ascendency in the polls, primarily when stacked against Democrat Hillary Clinton, the DC Media was about to do everything in its power to destroy Republican presidential frontrunner Ben Carson:

Let me be very, very clear about one thing: The DC Media cannot allow Dr. Ben Carson to become President of the United States. And if the DC Media has to put on white robes, burn crosses, grab firehoses, and sic German Shepherds on Carson, they will. In fact, they already have. Not literally, but the tactics and the goals are exactly the same: By any means necessary, destroy the free-thinking black man who threatens our power.

The piece also pointed out the overt racism Carson has already faced from NBC News and Brian Beutler of the New Republic; along with examples of the media’s ongoing “othering” campaign against Carson. Over policy positions that are nothing close to controversial, the DC Media is relentlessly “othering” Carson as “dangerous” and “crazy.” And like no other, including MSNBC, CNN has led this cable news charge.

Although I wasn’t expecting it to happen the very next day, the left-wing cable news network CNN has already slammed its Kill Ben Carson Machine into fifth gear.

CNN’s recent and troubling history of anti-black bias is well documented. The left-wing network has been sued for racial bias, is infamous for ginning up violence in predominantly black neighborhoods, and has faced scrutiny by the National Association of Black Journalists for its treatment of black staffers. It is no surprise, then, to discover that CNN is currently on a racially-motivated rampage to undermine Ben Carson’s biography, and by extension, his presidential ambitions.

Over the years, Carson has written a number of books, many of them auto-biographical. One famous part of Carson’s extraordinary story involves his temper as a very young man. Prior to turning 14 or 15 (we are talking 50 years ago, Carson is 64 today), Carson writes eloquently and honestly about, among other things, hitting his own mother with a hammer, almost stabbing someone, throwing rocks, etc.

The man who would grow up to be America’s foremost pediatric neurosurgeon credits the saving grace of Jesus Christ for saving him from a violent life, and what would have surely been a violent and untimely death.

All day long, CNN’s Scott Glover and Maeve Reston have appeared on the left-wing network, with various left-wing CNN anchors, to report that they cannot corroborate Carson’s stories about his violent pre-high school past.

The insinuation in every report is that Carson is a liar, and maybe a little crazy.

The politics at play here are obvious. Carson’s biography is a big part of his appeal. If CNN can destroy that and paint him as a liar while doing so, an existential threat to the Democrat Party — a black conservative — is eliminated.

Before I show you a CNN video from 2008 that will both enrage and shock you, let’s look at the trap CNN is fabricating for Dr. Carson.

We are not only talking about 50 years ago, we are talking about episodes of violence that occurred in a violent neighborhood 50 years ago. CNN is angling the fact that they have so far been unable to dig up a witness to the events Carson describes, as de facto proof Carson is lying. This hysterically dishonest tweet from Reston is a perfect example:

WHKalPenn-640x480

“This is stuff you’d remember,” she writes (to a Huffington Post staffer, no less).

First off, there was no stabbing. Of course people would remember a stabbing. But Reston is lying about there being a stabbing. The knife Carson plunged into the gut of another young man hit a belt buckle. Both lives were saved by what Carson would later interpret as divine intervention. Reston’s contention that the non-stabbing “is stuff you’d remember” from 50 years ago is absurd. Over the course of my life, I remember the two traffic accidents I have been in. I do not remember the close calls.

As far as the rest of the incidents, we are talking about rock throwing, and the like, in a rough Detroit neighborhood more than 50 freakin’ years ago.

I’m 15 years younger than the good doctor, but were you to scour the same time period of my life, I highly doubt anyone would remember me as a reprobate. Nevertheless, I had a helluva temper as a kid, enjoyed quite the shoplifting spree for a while,  and got in more than a few fights (most of which I lost, thank you very much).

In fact, I spent 6th grade in an inner-city middle school named after my hero Jackie Robinson. After graduating high school, I lived in an inner-city for 2 years. Now I am in no way trying to pretend I’m Down With the Struggle. But unlike these white, liberal CNN anchors, I have walked a mile or two in at least one of Ben Carson’s shoes and can tell you that in an inner-city environment, violence is too commonplace to be all that memorable. Especially a half-century ago!

When you look back that far, all you are going to remember is your impressions of people. You don’t remember the usual-usual fights, scrapes, and other details. The fact that a certain impression of Carson is all the so-called “witnesses” CNN has talked to remember about Carson, is far-far-far from extraordinary.

The bottom line here is that CNN is on an obvious racist witch hunt to destroy a politically conservative black man who has dared to stray from The Leftwing Thought Plantation.

And, as promised, here’s the video proof.

The video above is from October of 2008, when the presidential race was still competitive. If you watch the video until the end, what you’ll see is that Drew Griffin’s superb investigative reporting proved that then-candidate Barack Obama had repeatedly lied about his relationship with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers.

It was what you call a clean bust.

If you watched the video until the end, you also witnessed Anderson Cooper dismiss this bombshell as non-news.

Think about what happened there…

CNN proved Obama lied about his adult relationship with an unrepentant domestic terrorist. And what was the result? Nothing. Nada. Crickets. CNN dropped the issue immediately. And none of the rest of the DC Media dared pick it up. What would have been an election game-changer had Obama been a Republican, was swept under the rug.

Obama lied about his relationship with a TERRORIST.

CNN caught him lying.

Obama lied about his ADULT relationship with a TERRORIST.

CNN buried it.

Today, however, CNN is pulling out all the stops to brand Ben Carson as a liar because they can’t corroborate a few nothingburger events that happened more than 50 years ago when Carson was between the ages of 7 and 14.

Of course this is an act of racism of CNN’s part.

The left-wing black presidential candidate who thinks “correctly” gets a total and complete pass for lying about his adult relationship with a domestic terrorist.

On the other hand, the conservative black presidential candidate whose “mind ain’t right” is being hunted down by a half-dozen of CNN’s investigative reporters who think it means something because they can’t find anyone who remembers a few fights from 50 to 57 years ago.

Going back to slavery, Jim Crow and segregation, Democrats — and CNN is staffed almost exclusively by Democrats — have been socialized into a culture that demands the destruction of every free-thinking black person who threatens their power.

White hoods, fire hoses, cross burnings, and German Shepherds have merely been replaced with what Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas (who  has been relentlessly demonized by the DC Media for three decades) called “the high-tech lynching of an uppity black man.”

And today, as I write this, CNN is using innuendo, outright lies about a stabbing that did not happen, and When Did You Stop Beating Your Wife questions, in one more high-tech lynching of an “uppity black man.”
