During Friday’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” on Fox News Channel, chairman of the Republican National Committee Reince Priebus spoke on The New York Times article, which Priebus speculated was done by Democratic primary candidate Hillary Clinton’s research group “American Bridge.”
Priebus went on to question why Hillary Clinton has not driven in 20 years or spoken to reporters in months and is using GOP primary candidate Sen. Marco Rubio’s family driving history as means of hiding from not speaking to reporters.
“Listen, I’m not going to accuse anyone of anything. All I’m telling you is it is quite a coincidence every single pull for every single report comes from Hillary’s research. Here is the thing, kind of step back a little bit, someone getting a speeding ticket, that’s normal life. What isn’t normal, is Hillary Clinton not even driving a car for 20 years. I mean, does she even have a drivers license? I don’t know. If you want to talk about what is normal. This is going to turn around and bite Hillary Clinton because she doesn’t even drive.”
He continued, “My point is, what they are trying to do in Hillary-land is try to kind of, you know, show the shiny object, move away from the real issue, which is someone who hasn’t talked to reporters in months, hasn’t driven a car in 20 years, and she doesn’t even have the ability to get a traffic ticket because she doesn’t drive.”
