Watch: Toddler Tries to Wake Mother After Drug Overdose

Cellphone video captured the moment a toddler at a Lawrence, MA Dollar Store tried to wake her mother after a drug overdose.

In the video, captured Sunday, a young woman can be seen passed out on the ground in the toy section while her crying two-year-old daughter tries to wake her up by shaking and dragging her.

First responders used two doses of Narcan to revive the woman. Straws and baggies with drug residue were found in her purse.

She will be charged with child endangerment, authorities say.

The belief is the woman overdosed on either heroin or fentanyl.
