CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and State Department Acting Spokesperson Marie Harf lavished praise on Jane Fonda, while Blitzer also expressed his joy to be hanging out with Harf in an interview broadcast during CNN’s coverage of Saturday’s White House Correspondents Association Dinner.
CNN Senior Political Correspondent Brianna Keilar told Blitzer, “you’ve really outdone yourselves with your guests this year,” to which he said, “it doesn’t get any better than Jane Fonda…can you believe that i’m here with Jane Fonda? And Marie Harf, Acting Spokesperson for the US State Department. How cool is that?”
Harf added, “I was looking forward to meeting Jane Fonda, so that was really a dream come true…we’ve already done selfies in the car.”
