Wilbon: Suspend Brady 3-4 Games for Deflate-Gate

During ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption” on Wednesday, co-host Mike Wilbon responded to the report that New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady was found “more probable than not” to have deliberately let air out of game-used balls. The NFL is yet to come down on a punishment for the Patriots as well as Brady.

Brady, who much to the chagrin of Stephen A. Smith, skipped out on meeting President Barack Obama when the Patriots went to the White House to have their Super Bowl Championship recognized in April.

Wilbon stated that if he ran the league, he would suspend Brady three to four games for lying about not having any knowledge of the deflated footballs in a press conference.

“If I ran the league, I would suspend Tom Brady, suspend him. Because that’s the only thing. Don’t talk about money, don’t talk about organizational draft picks, suspension, three, four games. I would have to hit him. I would have to hit him here for lying.”
