Thursday at her weekly press briefing, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi addressed the growing controversy over videos that show Planned Parenthood doctors negotiating the sale of fetal tissue from abortions and said it was a “controversy that doesn’t exist” and suggested it was being manufactured by Republicans.
Pelosi said, “[Republicans] been out to get Planned Parenthood for as long as I can remember.”
“This is about women’s health. Planned Parenthood has said they have done nothing illegal.”
She added, “Lets have an investigation of those people who are trying to ensnare Planed Parenthood in a controversy that doesn’t exist.”
