Wednesday on RTÉ, Ireland’s National Television and Radio’s “Drivetime,” Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY) said on election night when he realized President-elect Donald Trump won, “I felt as though someone I really really really loved was killed.”
Crowley said, “It was pretty devastating. I felt as though someone I really really really loved was killed…It was shocking. It took a long time—still not over it. Still can’t believe it happened. Why the American people would vote for somebody who was so destructive, so destructive toward woman, toward people with disabilities.”
