Clemson’s Dabo Swinney Calls FS1’s Cowherd a ‘Fraud’ in Postgame Rant

Following Clemson’s 35-31 National Championship victory over Alabama Monday night, Tigers coach Dabo Swinney addressed Fox Sports 1 and radio host Colin Cowherd, who in November called the team a “fraud” because they should have had as many as three or four losses.

Swinney said his team “left no doubt” that they were the best after their victory over last year’s champs, and called Cowherd a “fraud” for not doing his homework.

“At the end of the day, we left no doubt tonight,” Swinney told reporters. “You know, we wanted to play Alabama because now y’all got to change your stories, you got to change the narrative. Y’all got to mix it up. The guy that called us a fraud, ask Alabama if we’re a fraud. Was the name Colin Cowherd? I never met him, don’t know him. Ask Alabama if we’re a fraud. Ask Ohio State if we’re a fraud. Ask Oklahoma if we’re a fraud. The only fraud is that guy, ’cause he didn’t do his homework. I hope y’all print that.”
