Oklahoma City Thunder announcer Brian Davis was under fire this week over saying Thunder guard Russell Westbrook was playing “out of his cotton-picking mind.”
Former CNN anchor Larry King praised Westbrook and said the star should take the comment as a “compliment.”
King told TMZ Sports, “‘Cotton-picking mind’ was probably an adjective.”
He added, “That statement’s been around forever.”
