Per a Fox 29 report, Philadelphia police are on the hunt for a teen they say is responsible for tossing a whiskey bottle into a passing van and injuring a 10-year-old.
“This street is not safe, especially at night time,” the victim’s father told FOX 29 after his son was struck with the Jack Daniels bottle.
According to Northwest Detective Captain Malachi Jones, the boy had a “significant abrasion” on the right side of his head and cuts from glass as a result of the bottle shattering.
The victim and his mother were headed to the park, but changed course to the hospital instead with the bottle and glass all over the inside of the van.
Investigators caught one of the suspects in surveillance footage throwing another object at a different car a little earlier.
Police believe the teens are local, and the victim’s father wants their parents to come forward.
