Tucker Carlson: ‘The AOC Moment Will Pass — It’s Too Stupid to Continue’

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson sounded off on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) recent Instagram comments on immigration.

Ocasio-Cortez accused U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials of “injecting kids with drugs.”

Carlson suggested the New York City Democrat was oversimplifying the immigration.

“If there’s at least one person that knows even less than your average cable news anchor, she’s a new member of Congress — the loudest one,” Carlson said. “She still thinks the whole immigration question boils down to racism. If you are for borders, you are a racist, period.”

“Like a lot of narcissistic children, Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t believe in honest disagreement, everything’s a moral question,” Carlson added. “If you agree with her you are virtuous. If you don’t, you are a monster. There can be no compromise.”

Later in the segment, Carlson predicted Ocasio-Cortez’s fame would fade and said he expected “sober Democrats” would once again become engaged.

“Someday the AOC moment will pass,” he said. “It’s too stupid to continue. And at that point, sober Democrats will wake up and rejoin the adult conversation in progress.”
