During a recent interview with the podcast “Authentically Detroit,” Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) accused President Donald Trump of having a “hate agenda instead of a policy agenda,” which showed his presidency is failing.
Tlaib said, “This is not only a failed presidency, and yes he has a number of character flaws, it’s the fact that this hate agenda, this kind of lawless approach is seeping into policymaking. The fact that he hasn’t followed through on congressional subpoenas.”
She continued, “You can’t ask us to do our job as a co-equal branch of government if this president thinks himself above the law.”
She added, “This is a failed presidency, that he has this hate agenda instead of a policy agenda.”
