Israel’s Representative to U.N.: Tlaib, Omar Presser ‘Was a Nice Show,’ They’re Trying to Get PR

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Israel’s Permanent Representative to the U.N. Ambassador Danny Danon stated that the press conference by Representatives Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) about Israel preventing them from visiting the country was “a nice show,” and that the two are using the issue “to get more PR for their campaigns.”

Danon reacted to Tlaib’s statement about her mother having to go through checkpoints and her grandmother by saying, “That was a nice show, but when you look at her words, previously, what she said about Israel, she doesn’t even recognize the right of the Jews to live in Israel. It is pure antisemitism. And now they’re using…this issue to get more PR for their campaigns.”

Danon added that Tlaib and Omar would have been welcomed if they were part of the Congressional delegation to Israel, “but they chose to come with a radical organization…to create provocation.”

He further stated that Israel doesn’t welcome provocation, unwillingness to recognize Israel, calls to boycott the country, and antisemitic remarks.
