Spotted at Saturday’s match-up between the University of Alabama Crimson Tide and Duke University Blue Devils in Atlanta were Tua Tagovailoa’s parents Galu and Diane Tagovailoa.
As ABC’s cameras panned to them, Galu Tagovailoa was seen wearing a “Tulsi 2020” ball cap, apparently supporting fellow Hawaiian Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s (D-HI) 2020 Democratic presidential bid.
Gabbard was in attendance with the Tagovailoas.
So excited to be here in #ATL with our good friends to cheer on @tuaamann! I first met Tua when he was just a kid – His aunt, Sai, was my first hire when I was elected to the State House in 2002. #rolltide #Hawaii @AlabamaFTBL #CFBison pic.twitter.com/NZIkyFCeq4
