Fans of 1987’s The Princess Bride now have the opportunity to get a little more interactive with the film, as Gameblend announced Thursday the release of The Princess Bride – The Official Game to iOS users.
Don’t know what that means? In the words of the film’s main character, Westley, as portrayed by Cary Elwes, “I’ll explain, and I’ll use small words so that you’ll be sure to understand, you warthog-faced buffoons.”
For only $3.99 in the App store, you can play the world of The Princess Bride and experience all of your favorite scenes. This includes surviving the shrieking eels, sword dueling with Inigo, and yes, wrestling Andre the Giant.
The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and requires iOS 6.o or later to operate. Gameblend has promised an Android version, which is coming soon.
