The University of San Francisco is considering whether it should revoke Bill Cosby’s honorary degree, awarded in 2012. As numerous allegations of sexual assault and drugging by Cosby continue to surface, USF is among several educational institutions that are questioning their ties with the entertainer.

“We’re seriously looking into the steps that need to be taken next,” Anne-Marie Devine, director of media relations at USF, told the San Francisco Chronicle. “The trustees are going to take this up at their August meeting,” Devine said.

The Chronicle notes that an article detailing Cosby’s 2012 speech has been removed from the school’s website.

In 2014, Cosby was stripped of an honorary “chief petty officer” title given to him by the Navy. Last month, Disney removed a statue honoring Cosby from the Hollywood Studios theme park.
