Rapper Iggy Azalea has opened up to Seventeen magazine about plastic surgery, confessing she has had procedures done and that “denying it is lame.”

Azalea recently admitted she had a nose job and breast augmentation, and she says she has no reason to lie about it.

“I don’t think you should be ashamed if you made a change to yourself, which is why I’ve spoken about the changes I’ve made, like my breasts,” she said.

So, what influenced the “Pretty Girls” singer to go under the knife?

Iggy Azalea is placing blame on social media for adding pressure on women to want to uphold certain standards of beauty.

“It’s hard to be a woman in 2015 with social media,” said Azalea. “There’s so much more emphasis on taking pictures of ourselves and the ‘likes’ or people commenting on them. There’s a lot more pressure to look beautiful. Some days I just want to look like shit and feel OK with it.”

Azalea emphasized she did her research before having her nose worked on, saying “plastic surgery is an emotional journey,” and urged those considering it not to act on impulse.

“Your perception of yourself can change a lot over time,” the 25-year-old explained. “So I think it’s important to wait and make sure it’s the right choice.”
