A representative from TBS’ Conan refused to comment Thursday on a Twitter tirade thrown by O’Brien sidekick Andy Richter against Breitbart’s John Nolte earlier this week.
“We prefer not to comment on the personal twitter accounts of staff members,” a spokesman for O’Brien’s show told Breitbart News in an email.
Richter issued a series of strongly-worded tweets attacking Nolte after his appearance on a radio program this week, where he argued that comedienne Amy Schumer called for gun control after the Trainwreck shooting in Lafayette, Louisiana because it happened to be the best way to advance her career.
Richter went on the offensive immediately, calling Nolte a “f***ing creep:”
The guy who said this is a fucking creep. All politics way, way aside, a real fucking creep.

After blocking Nolte on the social media service, Richter continued to go after him:
He demeaned the character of truly good person, & her reaction to a tragedy in which ppl were murdered. Fuck you. https://t.co/NJOSAygLe2

Steered clr of twitter gun debate lately, but this new "the prob is that the media is reporting on shootings" is so laughable you could cry
— Andy Richter (@AndyRichter) August 5, 2015
Yeah, if we just stop talking about how ppl are getting mowed down in malls, that'll fix everything. Those attention-hogs will sane right up
— Andy Richter (@AndyRichter) August 5, 2015
Little ironic, though, that the ppl who don't want to hear about mass gun murders are the ppl who don't seem too bothered by them

"The MSM glorifies these shooters!" – someone who learned this by continually watching the offending shows

Breitbart News had sought comment from TBS about whether Richter would apologize for his incendiary tweets, or whether he would face discipline from the network for them.
