Zero Dark Thirty and Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow will co-executive produce a jihadi recruitment drama series for HBO, TheWrap reports.

According to the site, Bigelow will produce The Recruiters, along with Somali writer/musician K’naan Warsame and former HBO head Carolyn Strauss.

Set in Minnesota, The Recruiters will “delve into another hot-button issue for which Bigelow has become known: how jihadists are radicalized and recruited,” TheWrap reports.

Per Entertainment Weekly, the project promises to “draw open an iron curtain behind which viewers will see the highly impenetrable world of Jihadi recruitment.”

Warsame will also write the script and direct.

Bigelow won two Academy Awards in 2010 for The Hurt Locker, which she produced and directed.

Zero Dark Thirty was nominated for Best Picture in 2013.
