The Algemeiner reports: Israeli political figures and US Jewish groups issued condemnations on Thursday of the deadly attack in Barcelona in which a terrorist plowed a vehicle into pedestrians along the Las Ramblas thoroughfare in the heart of the city, killing at least 13.

“I was updated this evening in the Foreign Ministry’s situation room on the terrorist attack in Barcelona,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. “As of now, we do not know of any injured Israelis, and we hope there are none. Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon stated, “Terror is terror, and Israel stands by the side of the people of Spain as we pledge to fight all those who seek to harm the free world.”
