Sept. 6 (UPI) — I Dream of Jeannie legend Barbara Eden has fallen ill and canceled her planned appearance at the Cinecon Classic Film Festival in Los Angeles Saturday.
“We’re sorry to share that, due to a sudden illness, Barbara Eden will no longer be able to appear in person,” organizers of the event said in a statement on social media.
“Barbara is deeply regretful that she had to cancel at the last minute as she had been very much looking forward to seeing everyone and celebrating with us.”
No details about her condition were immediately disclosed.
Eden’s All Hands on Deck co-star Pat Boone accepted the Cinecon Legacy Award on her behalf and stuck around to sign autographs for fans after a screening of the 1961 film.
Eden celebrated her 95th birthday last month.
