Alabama Home Invader Shot 'in Broad Daylight'

On April 27th an armed invader trying to enter a home in Mobile, Alabama, was shot and killed “in broad daylight.”

According to AL.com, “the incident occurred on Houston Street near McGill and Conti Street shortly before 9 a.m.” When officers from the Mobile Police Department (MPD) arrived, “they discovered a black male in his early 20s… [deceased] on the front porch of the residence.”

The invader was armed “and [had attempted] to make an unlawful entry into the residence.”

Fox 10 TV reports that neighbor Steve Harwood was awakened by the gun shot and looked out to see the intruder “lying across the threshold of his neighbor’s house.” Harwood said the intruder had fallen so that his upper body was in the house and his feet “were on the porch.”

Harwood’s wife was shocked someone would “break in on a family” and do so “in broad daylight.” She said it “was very disturbing” to her.
