Social media network Twitter erupted after GOP presidential candidate Donald Trumps made remarks about Sen. John McCain where he said, “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured, okay?”
Trump was almost universally blasted by people on the right, including other candidates and the Republican National Committee:
