Cowherd: Eagles’ Chip Kelly Could Learn From Donald Trump

Fox Sports 1’s Colin Cowherd reacted on his radio show “The Herd” Tuesday to Monday Night Football’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons, when Eagles head coach Chip Kelly elected to kick a 44-yard field goal on fourth down and one yard with almost three minutes left to go, which would have put the Eagles up by one point, but the Eagles kicker Cody Parkey missed it.

According to Cowherd, Kelly is known as someone who goes for it so much, that people would understand because it’s a part of his personality, and explained that he should own it the same way GOP front-runner Donald Trump owns up to his “absurd” bragging.

“Donald Trump, there’s bragging and then there’s Donald Trump. Donald Trump is so absurd when he brags that if Jeb Bush said it or if Rand Paul said the exact same thing Donald Trump said, you’d be like, ‘Oh, they’ve been drinking,'” stated Cowherd before playing audio of Trump talking about selling an apartment in China for $15 million. “If any other candidate said it, you’d be like, ‘That is a Saturday Night Live skit, but he owns. It’s like Snoop Dogg and pot. He just owns it so we’re okay with it.”

“When I look at Chip Kelly, he should always go for it. He owns that space. He’s the go for it guy,” he added.
