Donald Trump: Jeb Bush Brought in ‘Mommy to Take a Slap at Me’

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump responded to former First Lady Barbara Bush’s criticism of him on Saturday morning, mocking former Florida Jeb Bush for having his “mommy” take a swipe at Trump.

Trump posted on Twitter, “Wow, Jeb Bush, whose campaign is a total disaster, had to bring in mommy to take a slap at me. Not nice!”

Mrs. Bush has been campaigning for her son  in New Hampshire ahead of the state’s primary election on Tuesday, taking swings at the real estate mogul who is sitting at the top of the polls.

“Putin endorsed [Trump], for heaven sakes. Putin, the killer. Putin, the worst,” Mrs. Bush stated in a recent interview.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Barbara Bush would like to see her son interrupt more during the primary debate on Saturday night: “He’s almost too polite… if I gave him advice, I would say, why don’t you interrupt like the other people do?”
