Parents of an Ohio high school student gave a special Christmas gift to their son’s teachers this year: bottles of wine with their son’s face on the labels. News of their unique gift has gone viral.

Dayton resident D.J. Sommers took to his Twitter account to note that his parents decided to give a different sort of Christmas gift to his younger brother’s teachers this year.

“My parents always get our elementary school teachers a present around Christmas,” D.J. wrote in his December 18 tweet. “Typically something small like a candle or flower to say thank you. This year they got them bottles of wine & replaced the labels with their own with my brother on them… Happy holidays”:

Along with the photo of D.J.’s brother, the parents placed an amusing message on the homemade label: “Our child might be the reason you drink, so enjoy this bottle on us.”

It did not take long for D.J.’s tweet to go viral, garnering more than 36,000 likes and 5.3 thousand retweets by Thursday afternoon.
